When I was a child, during the 50's, our family went to the Zoo. I recall a "Monkey Exhibit", that was a deep pit with a large tree in the center for the monkeys to climb. A storm ensued and the wind toppled the tree and the monkeys escaped. I remember my grandmother, me in tow, "running for our lives".

Can u direct me to any ofiicial news articles regarding the incident?. My memories of this day are fuzzy.
