[Highland Park] Barrels, bins and backyard workshops
The Pennsylvania Resources Council's (PRC) Spring Workshops will begin Saturday, March 16, with a Vermicomposting Class from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Cooper-Siegel Library. Backyard Composting Workshops kick-off on Saturday, March 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Boyd Community Center and Rain Barrel Classes start Tuesday, April 23, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Phipps Garden Center. You'll get everything you need to set-up your own backyard compost bin, compost your kitchen scraps with worms or build and install a rain barrel. The cost of each workshop is $50 person/ $55 couple. Children under the age of 18 accompanied by an adult may attend for free.
