My name is Jeffrey Dorsey and I am the new Program Director at the Union Project. I started in January 09 and my job is to evaluate and manage all UP programs. Internally, I am working with each of our four enterprises in order to ensure that our programming helps them reach their goals. Externally, I am evaluating and seeking meaningful collaborations with individuals and partners that can help the UP carry out our mission. Therefore, all summer I will be meeting with neighborhood organizations and partners to build and maintain strong relationships and to listen to your needs. On May 21st, I will be attending the Highland Park Community Council Meeting to talk in more detail about our programming. As well, on June 18th, the Union Project will host the Highland Park Community Council in our space for your meeting. At that time, I will be able to give a tour and update you on all of the exciting things happening here. Below is a summary of UP current programming. I hope you can plan to attend one of HPCC's meetings and/or some UP programs in the future. Please feel free to contact me Mon-Wed and Fridays between the hours of 8:30-5:00PM to introduce yourself and share your ideas about UP programming and the neighborhood. In service I am sincerely yours, Jeffrey Dorsey Program Manager Union Project 801 N. Negley Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15206 412-363-4550x26
