The Pittsburgh Society of Artists Guild (PSA) presents an exhibit at the Rowe Gallery, Greensburg Art Center titled “Illumination.” This exhibit, juried by Ms. Kathy Dlugos opens to the public with a reception at the Rowe Gallery, Greensburg Art Center on Saturday, March 16, 2013 4:00 to 6:00 PM. This exhibit is a collaborative effort between PSA and Greensburg Art Club, and will be open to all PSA members and Greensburg Art Club members. What makes the light go on for you? Illumination is the motivation for artists’ submissions. Il•lu•mi•na•tion (ih-loo-muh-ney-shuh) n. 1. an act or instance of illuminating 2. the fact or condition of being illuminated 3. a decoration of lights, usually colored lights. 4. an entertainment, display, or celebration using lights as a major feature or decoration 5. intellectual or spiritual enlightenment Juror: Ms. Kathy Dlugos is the Art Program Director at Westmoreland County Community College, where she teaches. She received her BFA in Painting, Drawing, and Art History from Seton Hill University. Her own work has appeared in several exhibitions throughout the region and beyond, including a two-person exhibition with artist and arts educator Carole Brode at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.
