"Highland Park Neighbors Group" is this legitimate?
Hello group, I am a new member and i am seeking advice about a note I just found tucked into my door. This note concerns repairs needed to the street curbing in front of my house. The note was unsigned, anonymous aside from the closing title: "Highland Park Neighbors Group". While I do understand this repair work is my responsibility the manner and tone of this note is rather disturbing and even includes a threat to file a formal complaint if I do not comply with the senders wishes. My question to the community is whether this is a legitimate group or simply an irate neighbor? I certainly intend to repair my curb but threatening a "formal complaint" does not seem appropriate or neighborly at all. Thanks for listening, Glen S. Gardner
Dear Group, Thanks for all the quick replies on this matter. Consensus seems to be that no such "Neighbors Group" exists and that is certainly a relief. And for the record; while I am new to this Listserv, I've actually been at my HP residence for 17 years now. I know the good work that the legitimate HP groups do for us and never for a moment confused this mystery note with any of them. Thank you all again for restoring my faith in our wonderful community! Now where did I leave my cement mixer :-)? Regards, Glen G.
