Hi neighbors, My friend and colleague Paul is moving to Pittsburgh from Hong Kong this summer for a multi-year research position at Pitt. If you have or know of anyone who has a 1-2 bedroom rental available in mid to late June for Paul and his family, please contact him! I'm including some information about what he's looking for below. Based on what he's described, I think that places in/near Highland Park, Point Breeze, and Squirrel Hill would be nice for his family to live based on their family-friendliness and proximity to groceries, parks, and Oakland. peizen@connect.hku.hk Some of Paul's apartment hunting notes: It would be optimal if I could move in the day I arrive (that’s *June 23rd* ). I’d be looking for something rather long-term if possible (*30 months, July 2015 - Dec 2017*). Initially would prefer a six-month lease, but would stay longer if location and apartment are nice. *1 bedroom is generally fine, 2 are also okay*. I’m relatively flexible regarding the price range (*$800 - $1200*; best would be something around $1000). Having *grocery stores* in reasonable walking distance (I don’t mind walking 20 min…) would be fantastic. More importantly is that the neighbourhood is *family friendly*, relatively *quiet*, having a *park* nearby to take out my little one would be wonderful. Any effective way to *reach Pitt* (walking, bus ride, etc.) would be great of course too, since I won’t have a car for the first few months I guess. Thanks, everyone! Michelle
