Dear neighborhood, If you live near Stanton Ave and Jackson Street, you may have seen our Lost Cat posters, talked with one of us over the past week, or seen the message here on this mailing list. We've just moved to the area, and last week lost one of our cats when a door blew open during a storm. Well, we are very happy (and much relieved) to report that, thanks to some keen-eyed neighbors a few doors down, we located Momma Cat yesterday and brought her home last night! Thank you everyone for your concern and caring. Losing a beloved fuzzy family member was definitely not the ideal welcome-to-the-neighborhood experience, but the compassion from everyone we encountered speaks volumes about the community present here. We're happy to now, finally, settle into making Highland Park our new home.
