To: neighborhood@highlandparkpa.com <neighborhood@highlandparkpa.com> I am wondering if there are any families in our neighborhood that are looking for extra help between now and 1 June. I have just left the most fun job I have ever had - being paid to play w a child between 5 months and 17 months - I was with the family for a year. I am contemplating a move to Boston in June so this would just be til the end of the spring semester. I have been a PreK teacher and during 3 summers I ran an arts and crafts program for a family camp - I love me art projects!!! I prefer the out of doors no matter what the weather. I am killer at Uno, Chutes and Ladders, Parcheesi and Sorry - and love to cook but not clean - (please don’t ask me to vacuum or fold your laundry - I would rather be with and in charge of your child or children). Also I am a grandmother - which i believe should go on my resume as that is a unique and deeply felt life experience which create a whole new level of life skills and relationship challenges - I mean - opportunities. : ) And it goes without saying: that I would love the opportunity to hold, cuddle, sing to, feed and care for any new born baby in the world - but for right now: here in Highland Park. I am not looking for a full day - possibly either a morning shift or an afternoon one - say a 5 or 6 hour day - so mid morning to mid afternoon would work. I am extremely covid careful - stayed home for Thanksgiving, Christmas AND New Years (first time in 23 years I was not with family and friend on Laurel Mt). Looking forward to hearing from anyone who is smiling and thinking: gosh this person sounds like fun and we could really use some help!!! molly steffey
