Dear Neighbors, We are a family of two working parents, a 7-year-old (starting virtual 2nd grade at PPS Dilworth next week), and a 4-1/2 year old. As we enter the fall semester, we are seeking someone to tutor our younger child, who will not be participating in a formal Pre-K program due to the Coronavirus. We would like to find someone to come 3-5 weekday mornings per week, for 1-2 hours a day (likely starting at 9 AM). Our hope is to find someone with the ability to design and implement age-appropriate educational activities that align with PPS' kindergarten readiness indicators. No license or credential required, but someone with an early childhood education background of some type would be ideal. Your health and safety, along with ours, is important to us. We would like for the interaction to take place outdoors (either our backyard or covered front porch), with masks/social distancing in place.
