Neighbors, The Baltimore Consort will perform a free community children's concert of popular music from the 16th and 18th centuries on Friday, May 6th at 3pm for area families, seniors at Vintage, and students from River Valley School at the Vintage Senior Center (enter on Rippey St. across from Home Depot -- door on porch). You are most welcome to join us! Hear the true story of the blind Dutch musician and composer, Jacob van Eyck, who played the recorder and would wander happily improvising songs and dances he heard in the town of Utrecht. Learn to "see" with your ears. They will use a variety of early instruments. Sorry for the short notice. Paola Scommegna Jackson St.
