Hello Neighbors- I am organizing a Highland Park " Cutest Pet Contest".  In honor of the passing of our beloved shih-tzu: Titan, I would like to bring my fellow pet lovers together in a community event.I was very touched by all the support we received when Titan was missing and I hope this fun contest will an opportunity to meet and greet you face to face.Tazza D'Oro has kindly offerd their space for the announcing of the winners. Exact time and date TBD but it will be the weekend of December 18th.You may submit your photographs via email to kshingler1@gmail.com or drop them into my mailbox at 1030 King Ave.  The entry fee will be $5 per photo entry.  Seventy percent of the proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Fund.First place will be awarded %15 percent, Runner-Up will receive %10, and Honorable Mention will receive %5 of the total of the entry fees.I will solicit local business owners to be judges and accept entries until December 15th.  Please have fun with this spur of the moment community holiday activity.               - Kathy Shingler
