I want VERY much to move to Highland Park and have been looking for an apartment for some time. I am hoping that someone will know of an available place that will meet my needs. I am looking for a first floor apartment that has at least 4 rooms - either LR/K/2 BR. or LR/K/DR/BR combination. It must be a first floor apartment unless there is an elevator. The rent range I am looking for is under $850/month. It must be cat-friendly - 1 cat, 6 years old, generally leads a lethargic lifestyle. If there is a porch and/or a yard, that would be fantastic. I need to move in May - ASAP. I am an excellent tenant who has been in my present apartment for 21 years. I am a professional with excellent references. I'm quiet and friendly but not intrusive with neighbors (you can ask them!) Please respond if you have any leads or ideas. Even if you know of a great place elsewhere, I would love to know about it, in case there really is nothing in HP. Thank you!
