UPWords is a monthly reader writer series held on the 2nd Friday of every month, in the Union Project's Atrium. This free event features both local and national writers. James Harms directs the M.F.A. Program in Creative Writing at West Virginia University. Jim Daniels is the Thomas Stockman Baker Professor of English at Carnegie Mellon University, where he directs the Creative Writing Program.
