Looking for volunteers for MLK Day Celebration event at Union Project
Hi neighbors, We are looking for volunteers to help out with our 15th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day Celebration <http://www.unionproject.org/events/transition> on Monday, January 16. The duration of the event is from 2-7pm, with doors open at 1:30pm. This event is free and welcomes all ages. In this year's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day Celebration, community members such as Michelle King, Jonathan Reyes, Autumn Chilcote, and Jay Oriola will share techniques with the participants to discover new perspectives, learn new methods to express themselves, and take action towards building a more inclusive community. We will have a variety of creative and interactive activities lead by thoughtful community members, kids hands-on activities, and a free culminating community meal at the end of the event. We need your help to make this day a great success. If you are interested in volunteering, please *email your contact information and availability to Raiona Gaydos*, our Community Program Coordinator at raiona@unionproject.org or call her at 412-363-4550 <(412)%20363-4550> with extension number 221. Please share this volunteer opportunity with anyone who might be interested, thank you.
