in december we bought a hybrid, great car, mazda. the dealer said that we qualified for a tax credit and that was one reason we bought it. dealer never sent the paperwork for the tax credit and we called and called. long story short, our car doesn't qualify for a tax credit, we learned, because mazda stopped doing the admin thing they had to do for this credit further back in 2024. we don't have anything in writing from the dealer, it's all just phone messages. anyway, instead of a 6800 tax refund we we were counting on, we owe taxes. guessing there's nothing we can do ( small claims court?) but in case someone here has a suggestion? joy, out of luck, probably
