Hello! We got this adorable yard sign a week ago that says "Ban Guns, Not Books" and there's a rainbow behind the statement. Cute, right? Important statement, right? We thought so too. But since we put it up there was a bloody disgusting diaper left in front of it and then today there was animal (I hope) feces spread all over our sidewalk right in front of it. Now it is possible that both of these things are just coincidence and that someone just doesn't know how to clean up after their dog. But it's also possible that someone is trying to make a really shitty statement. Let's take care of each other, clean up after ourselves, look out for each other, and ban guns, not books.
