Hi everyone!  A friend has  recently started working at a therapeutic preschool for children ages 3-5. This preschool is for children who have experienced domestic violence, neglect, physical, sexual or emotional abuse. As a result, they have developmental delays or behavior problems that make it hard for them to function in a normal preschool setting. Their facility operates on a very small budget and is in need of donations in order to acquire new toys. With your help, we could fill their school with new toys and surprise the children for Christmas. If you would like to help meet this goal, please take some time when you go Christmas shopping to pick up 1-2 new toys to donate to the children. Also, if any of your friends/family would like to help us please ask them to consider donating any old toys that they might have.  The donations are needed by Dec. 20 so they can surprise the kids on Dec 21 with the new toys. Here are some things the school needs: ***Any type of toy that helps with learning numbers, colors, shapes and letters!!!!!*** Play-doh and play doh tool sets Play food (to go in their toy kitchen) Stuffed animals for the children to sleep with at nap time Toy trucks/cars Action figures that are age appropriate Baby Dolls Hand puppets …But feel free to pick up anything that you think a 3-5 year old would really enjoy! Some things you should AVOID: Toy weapons of any kind (nerf guns, plastic swords etc.) Blocks, Puzzles or Books (They are fully stocked on these items!)
