Now, its time to Get Down! 1) Today! * Just picked pre-4th of July Watermelon (and lots more farm-fresh fruits and veggies) at East Liberty Farmers' market from 3:30 - 7:30. Penn Circle West. * Movies on the Square by Comcast Cinema in the Parks. Tonight's movie is Spanglish, and it starts at 9:00. We'll be on Beatty Street, behind Carnegie Library. Bring a lawn chair or 2, or some watermelon. 2) Friday * Lunch on the Square. Weather permitting, East liberty Presbyterian Church will be bringing their Cathedral Cafe out onto the square. Great food and entertainment in the shadow of a stunning cathedral. We'll follow-up with menu and artist. 3) Saturday Artist Bizarre. * Maybe you've noticed the blue tents, great ethnic food, local entertainment and really cool arts and crafts for sale in front of East Liberty Presbyterian Church these past few Saturdays. If not, consider yourself lucky to be on this list;) Getting bigger and better every week, and will be going until October. The Citiparks roving Art Cart will be on-hand this week.
