Samsung Gas Range with Convection and Warming Drawer--$300 OBO
We're renovating our kitchen and had to switch from gas to electric to get the stove out of the corner, so we're selling our Samsung gas range. I really liked this stove! The front two burners are very powerful (especially the front left burner). The right burner can be used with a wok grate and the middle burner works well with a griddle. The oven is exceptionally accurate and gets up to 550 degrees with ease. I bake a lot of bread and pizza, so I was always tracking the temps and they were very consistent. The bottom drawer on the range is an actual warming drawer that has three temps controlled separately from the oven. It's a really wonderful feature and makes it easy to keep food warm while you prepare the rest of the meal. Three not-so-great things: 1. The very small back right burner doesn't always light automatically. Sometimes the ignitor just doesn't work, so you have to light it by hand. I never bothered to get it looked at because I hardly ever used that burner. 2. Some of the markings have faded on the stove knobs from washing over the years. If this is a big issue, you can order replacement knobs from Samsung. 3. The oven is a little dirty. We didn't have a vent hood, so I could never use the self-cleaning feature. One good session (or some oven cleaning and elbow grease) and it should be as good as new. I have the extra oven rack and griddle the range came with. I also have the wok grate somewhere I think, but I believe it was accidentally packed away with our kitchen stuff. If you're interested in it, I could get it for you when we unpack our kitchen in a few months. You can also buy a replacement on Amazon for about $20 if you don't want to wait. The model number is nx58f5700ws-aa and there's more information available about the range on the Samsung website <https://www.samsung.com/us/home-appliances/ranges/gas/nx58f5700-gas-range-with-true-convection-nx58f5700ws-aa/>. Purchased almost exactly 5 years ago. Pick up from our house in Morningside. We can place the range on our back parking pad, which can be accessed via the alley behind our house. This means no steps to get the range; however, we are unable to help you load the range into your vehicle, so you will need to bring help. $300 OBO More pictures are available here via google drive <https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vnkQgMCd80JLstPS6CKNdkDgTCPoJ6R-?usp=sharing> .
