PRC Environmental Education Workshops at Construction Junction - Spring 2012 The Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC), in partnership with Construction Junction, will present four adult education workshops at Construction Junction this spring. The workshops will take place on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. They are: March 31 Worm Composting <http://www.zerowastepgh.org/ZW-PRC-byvc.html> Cost: $45 person/ $55 couple. Each participant or couple will be provided with a bin, instructions, and worms. You will go home with a complete, ready to use vermiculture system! April 28 Healthy Body, Healthy Home, Healthy Planet <http://www.zerowastepgh.org/ZW-PRC-envhealth.html> Cost: $20 person/ $25 couple. All participants or couples receive a green cleaning starter kit. May 12 Rain Barrel/ Watershed Awareness <http://www.zerowastepgh.org/ZW-PRC-rainbarrel.html> Cost: $35 person/ $45 couple. Return home equipped with the knowledge and hardware needed (not the 55-gal. drum) to assemble and install a rain barrel. It's easier than you might think! May 26 Backyard Composting <http://www.zerowastepgh.org/ZW-PRC-byvc.html> Cost: $50 person/ $55 couple. Each participant or couple will receive one compost bin.
