Home urgently needed for an amazing dog shar pei mix (Forest Hills)
(412) 606-7169 please call if interested in Lupini Lupini 2.5 year old shar pei mix Fully vaccinated, neutered, up-to-date on flea & worm Such a good boy! He's house trained, obedience & crate trained. Lupini is one of the smartest dogs you'll ever meet. He is hilarious with such a personality, he sometimes seems that he is more human that dog! He is my best friend and the thought of parting ways with him is unimaginable, but I am left with absolutely no other choice. He was rescued as a puppy and has lived with one owner (me) since then. He desperately needs a new home due to some really, really unfortunate life events that leaves me with absolutely no other option. I am beyond devastated to give up him as he is my best friend, but I will avoid sending him to a shelter at all costs. He comes with everything you could possibly need - crate, food, vet records, up to date vaccinations, flea and worm medicine and whatever else you want. If I don't have it already, I will get it for you! He would be a great farm dog in a rural area as he has no prey drive and loves nothing more than to protect the property. However if you live a more urban area and can provide a suitable environment for him, that would be great too. He's good with older kids (I don't have any, but he's been around older kids with no problem. He would probably be fine with younger kids, but just hasn't been around them), but he's not good with bigger dogs, male dogs, or cats. He's lived with a smaller female dog for the past 1.5 years with no issues. There's a lot more information about Lupini here: https://pet-net.net/lab-shar-pei-dog-adoption-pittsburgh-pa/ If you can give him the best forever home, please get in touch. I will talk through all of your questions and we can go through everything together. For me, finding the right home is the most important thing. If you can't offer him a home but have experience rehoming dogs, please get in touch as I can really use the help. Lupini is the most important thing in my life and finding someone who loves him as much as I do would be the biggest blessing after a really difficult year. I am willing to travel pretty much anywhere in the country for the right home for him, so even if you're not in Pittsburgh please do reach out. His adoption will be subject to a home inspection, small adoption fee (only so I know he's going to someone who really wants him) and vet reference checks. -
