Please join me and fellow Highland Park neighbor Jessica Pedersen for our second monthly walk through the park this Wednesday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. This free walk is sponsored by the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. Along the walk we'll identify plants (both good and bad ones) and talk about what's going on in the park. We'll meet near the fountain at 6:30 pm--please be a couple of minutes early if possible. Dress appropriately for a walk in the "woods"--there will be mud, thorns, uneven paths, and possibly poison ivy. The walks in Highland Park will occur on the first Wednesday of each month until October. There are walks scheduled for the other three Pittsburgh parks on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of the month too:- 2nd Wednesday - Frick Park Meet at Frick Environmental Center on Beechwood Blvd 3rd Wednesday - Riverview Park I don't know exactly where to meet for this, but if you want/need to know, ask me and I'll find out for you... 4th Wednesday - Schenley Park Meet at the Schenley Park Visitor Center Rudy
