I am a 58-year-old woman with a lot of energy and a great deal of passion, and I am looking for new sources of income. I have cared for: elders, children, pets and houses, and am adaptable to any category that comes to me. I am a fantastic listener, a kindhearted soul and a hard worker, who incorporates a good attitude in everything I do. I am very good at organizing and de-cluttering, as well, and many of my clients count on that ability to help them get better control over their surroundings. I would make a great personal assistant, and am very *open to a live-in situation*, but would prefer staying in the East End. I worked at the East End Food Coop for 9 years and have a vested interest in good health; I am a pretty good cook and can easily follow a recipe to a positive end. Originally from New York (in and around the city), I have a background in music and dance and love becoming theatrical and dramatic when children (or children at heart) are around. It depends on the mood of the client(s), of course, so rest assured that I am also capable of being contemplative and quiet. I also love to read to children, especially Dr. Seuss, where I have been known to get a little over-excited(!) I love having fun, and people seem to open up really well to me. I have been told that I am very pleasant to work with. I have a Biology degree and a teaching certificate (K-8) from Chatham University. I love all things natural, and have been on a life-long mission to help turn things around on this planet.
