Howdy Folks, Perched on my soap box today, just a little information for you. Did you know that when you use a "Rewards Card" credit card, the business owner pays the reward? That's on top of the fees the card companies and processors charge. They charge us outlandish extra fees to process them. Why do you think the card companies are pushing these cards? In most places, PIN debit is the least expensive form of payment for the owner, as it is guaranteed money. It also protects you, as only you should know your PIN. We have a good deal with our processor, that PIN debit costs us next to nothing. I get that everyone wants to stick it to the man, and get whatever they can for "FREE". I have 1 rewards card also, but I only use it at big box stores......Sams Club, Target, Giant Eagle, etc. I wouldn't walk into Food Glorious Food and hit them with a rewards card. I know that for the most part, this won't change peoples actions, but I just wanted everyone to be aware that the rewards aren't FREE.......
