Hi Neighbors, I have an elderly mother (95) living at "Sunrise at Fox Chapel", an assisted living center for the mentally impaired, who desperately needs to have wax removed from her ears. In the past I have taken my mother out to see a local Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist. However, she is now physically too frail and her dementia is too advanced to attempt to take her out of the facility to have the treatment she needs. The facility she's living at has been unable to help me and that is why I am now turning to all of you. My mother is now for all intents and purposes deaf due to a build up of wax in her ears, and her quality of life, which was poor to begin with, is now almost non-existent. I have been desperately trying to find a ear specialist who might make a "house call" to perform this service for her. Of course, I would be more than happy to pay any extra fee that a specialist would charge for making a house call. If anyone out there knows someone who could help me with this I would be eternally grateful, and you would be helping to give back the pleasure of hearing to an elderly woman.
