My seven-year-old son is interested in studying a martial art. Can anyone recommend a dojo that would teach in a manner consistent with our family's non-violent values by building the confidence that can help one avoid the need to fight and teaching fighting only as a defense of last resort? Also one with a positive and sensitive teacher?
