[Highland Park] FW: fostering? FW: Question
Hey, listserv! Please see below, and if you have the time and are able to open your home, give Margaret a call. Margaret has done wonders throughout the years with feral cat colonies. I am unable to take these kittens in presently, or I'd do it. Thanks, everyone! Rachel
I hate to even ask, I know everyone everywhere is
Side who has been caring for a colony of cats for many years. He over
litter of 5 before they get too old and wouldn't be adoptable. I
overloaded but . . . . . . I have an 87 year old friend on the North the years has taken it on himself to get nearly every one neutered and spayed. But two pretty spooky females he could never trap. This year they both had litters. We grabbed the one think they're maybe 5-6 weeks. An application went in to Animal Friends this week.
But in the meantime, Joe is trying to take care of the kittens and it
feeding them weaning supplement and canned food every few hours, even
is killing him. He is syringe thru the night. He has serious health problems, like severe asthma and emphysema and diabetes. The kittens are causing his asthma to go into overdrive, and the lack of rest is horrible
on him. I can't take the kittens to foster as I am in the 13th month of fighting ringworm in my home. Does anyone know of anyone who might be able and willing to foster these kittens until they go to Animal Friends?? If so, please call me (don't email as I don't' have access to this work email on weekends or evenings) at 412-874-6046. Thanks, Margaret
