Hello, A few people expressed interest in the results from my request for recommendations on exterior painting with wood repairs. I consolidated the feedback received below. ~ Laura Just a heads up, I would stay away from Hutton Painting Try James Webb 412-628-0794; his man Fred did a good job for me repairing and painting box gutters last year--at reasonable cost. Papa's Painting painted our house a few years back. It's a brick house so it was mainly eaves, trim windows etc. They did a great job and Mike the owner is very easy to work with. His crew was skilled and friendly. I highly recommend them. Mike's number is 412-259-5300. Also he gave me the number of a guy to replace some of the rotted trim on an eave. His name is Gary (don't remember last name) and he did a good job as well. He couldn't find trim at Home Depot to match and went to Construction Junction where he was successful. His number is 724-681-9463. He was also easy to work with and recommended. We have worked with Tom Lafferty to do some painting projects and were very pleased with his work.
