I would like to add information about one of Pittsburgh's best performing elementary schools-the French Magnet in Highland Park which is the French Magnet for the Obama Program. Talk to Principal Kevin Bivins. I think Fulton is the highest performing elementary schools in the city. Also reading. Check it out. My son is now a sophomore in high school and went there. Please join us Thursday, November 15th at 7 PM at St. Andrew's Church for the next Highland Park Community Council monthly meeting.

A representative from the PPS magnet school office will give an overview of the magnet application process and answer questions. Middle Years Coordinator Michael Chapman will give a quick update about the status of Obama IB since its move to the Peabody facility and two Obama IB students will be presenting an overview of their IB projects.
