Please help me to understand something. We have recently moved here from Princeton, New Jersey where we had a very strictly enforced honking (noise) ordinance. Since moving to HP, I have experienced a very strange Pittsburgh habit. It seems as though my neighbors on both sides of me have a habit of "announcing that they are home" by honking their car horns sometimes 6-8 times as they approach their homes and continue for anther 5-6 times as they enter their driveways. It doesn't matter what time of day, early in the morning and late at night. I find this to be extremely rude and I'm not sure how to approach them about this. We are new to the street and they obviously have been doing this for years. Anybody else experience this?
