Dear Neighbors Our neighborhood will once again be planting street trees this fall. Our planting date is 11/6 at 9 am. We will need volunteers to help plant, stake and mulch. Mark your calendars. We will be planting on Stanton Avenue east of N Highland. Kids 8 and older can help plant and we will have activities for younger children. More details to follow. Sincerely, East Stanton Avenue Tree Team JUST SAY NO TO CYPRESS MULCH Bald Cypress grows mainly southern swamps. It does not regenerate rapidly and is vital to the swamp ecosystem. It is a waste of a good and magnificent tree to grind it up and throw it on your garden. Also, it does not even make very good mulch.
