[Highland Park] Farmers Cooperative Market of East Liberty Update
Farmers Cooperative Market of East Liberty I am happy to announce that Peter Williams, the owner of Kew Park Estate Coffee Farm will be visiting the market on Saturday April 17th. He will be hanging out at the coffee bar- talking about the coffee farm and how he grows his world class coffee using sustainable methods. Peter and his ancestors have been farming in Westmorland Jamaica for over 100 years. Peter is a fascinating and engaging guy, and I am sure you will enjoy meeting him. Update for Saturday April 10th! J.L. Kennedy Farm will have meat specials that include pork slab/spare ribs, boneless pork sirloin roasts, chicken thighs, and drumsticks Sam Byler from Riverview Dairy will be there with his goat cheese as well as a few other Pennsylvania cheeses. Sam will also have fresh goat milk and a drinkable goat milk yogurt this week. Rick from Zang’s Greenhouse had some beautiful flowers last week and will have more this week, among other things. Ina from Greenawalt Farm will have fresh eggs and other items. Local apples and cider are still available from Kistaco Farm Fresh brewed Kew Park Coffee from Jamaica will be available from the coffee bar. Whole beans can be ground to order.
