Hello Highland Park families! If you live in or near the Highland Park/Morningside/Stanton Heights area and you have a son or another boy in your life who will be in 1st through 5th grades in the fall, I’d like to invite you to join my son and me in Cub Scouts. My son joined last year and has enjoyed every moment of his first year of Scouting so far. Scouting is an excellent opportunity for our boys to have a great time and also learn life skills. It’s also been a great way for my son and I to share in new and exciting activities together. You can attend a meeting for families interested in joining our Cub Scouts pack on September 7, 2016 at 6:30pm at St. Raphael School on Chislett Street. We’ll begin our weekly meetings at the school the following week, so don’t miss out! If you are thinking of coming to the meeting, or you have any other questions about Scouting please let me know. If you would like to sign up for Scouting but are too far from us, just go to the “Be a Scout” web site to find a pack near you. The link is at the bottom of this message. (If you have a boy in 6th grade or older, you can use the same link to find a Boy Scouts troop, including the one at St. Raphael.) I hope to see you at the meeting on the 7th.
