Carnivorous plants do need a minimum of care that we can't provide for, my son is only 19 months and he will not be able to take care of plants! Plus I am about to have a second child, which means I will not be able to take care of plants for him (our poor home plants are struggling quite a bit already!) This would be a lovely gift for a child interested in cool and unique plants, of at least 4 years of age, I believe.
