Mad props to those who run during the nastiest of winter weather. It's tricky to find pavement to run on, what with all the snow and ice, so understandable that runners will need to veer into the street every now and again. I witnessed this very thing on Highland Ave yesterday as the freezing rain was coming down at dusk, at a distance that was way too close for comfort. Not wearing a single item of reflective clothing or a light does not just put your life at risk, but potentially implicates a driver. Your run is not just about you.
