Hi All, I am so glad it’s summer. On June 23rd Tazza D’Oro will celebrate 6 years of being in business. I want to thank all of you for your loyal support and business. Many thought that a business like Tazza D’Oro would never make it in Highland Park. I was recently told by a prominent media/Pittsburgh person that Tazza D’Oro is on it’s way of becoming a landmark in Pittsburgh. My employees and customers should pat themselves on the back. Thank you all. Most importantly, on June 20th at 6:30 pm, Tazza D’Oro will host it’s 2nd annual Customers v. Tazza D’Oro softball game at the Farmhouse Field (on top of Heberton). Right after the game Tazza D’Oro will also host a cookout for all players and spectators at the café with music by our own Jake Lexso. As many of you know, I spend part of my week working at a small non-profit (Working Order), which assists folks, with and without disabilities, seeking the opportunity to start their own businesses/self-employment. So as part of the softball game and cookout, I am asking that you please attend and also donate $5-$10 dollars toward Working Order. All the fun, music, food and brew is on the house but your donation will help a lot of people who inspire me everyday. My employees have been saying to all those fired up about the game – BRING IT!!!! Please come and have some fun.
