Geoff, My friends and I have regularly used Rhio Rose, phone number 412.371.6853. He has excellent skill with "patching to match." He originally patched a badly installed ceiling in my dining room and a mess caused by a roof leak in my bedroom. I hired him later to plaster new walls in my addition (included a vaulted ceiling) using the traditional two coat, and he used one coat plaster to finish five new walls we built in the basement, as well as a shower surround. His rates are reasonable, and unlike many drywall contractors, seems to prefer it if you have someone put up the blueboard, but I believe he'll also do that. Good luck.
