Is anyone missing a black cat? For a few days we've seen a short-haired black cat in our yard. He or she is wearing a collar, and missing about 1/3 of the tail. This cat seems healthy/uninjured, but slender and hungry -- when we put some food next to the bush it was sheltering under, the cat immediately started wolfing it down without waiting for us to get much farther away.
