Dear Neighbors, On Halloween, remember to bring your kids to the Second Annual Halloween costume parade and contest at the Highland Park fountain: Sunday, October 31st from 3:30 p.m. until about 5:00 p.m. RAIN OR SHINE!! The kids will show off their costumes while parading around the fountain and parents can take photos. We'll be giving out prizes in various categories & every child will get a prize! We will provide snacks and drinks so don't worry about having time to feed the kids before heading out for trick or treating. WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR: ORGANIZING HALLOWEEN MUSIC SET UP FOOD TABLE JUDGES FOR COSTUME CONTEST CLEANUP DONATIONS OF HEALTHY SNACKS, APPLE CIDER, & small Halloween toys are appreciated. ALSO, IF YOU HAVE ANY HALLOWEEN NOVELTY ITEMS YOU'D LIKE TO GET RID OF, PLEASE DROP THEM OFF AT THE PORCH OF 5541 BEVERLY. WE WILL USE THEM FOR CONTEST PRIZES.
