The Port Authority has initiated a new round of public meetings to hear from residents about the proposed Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project; on May 2nd, a meeting will be held in East Liberty for all east end neighborhoods effected by the proposal, including Highland Park: *East Liberty Public Meeting* *When:* Wednesday, May 2, 2018, 6:30-8 p.m. Where: Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 250 N Highland Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 *Who:* Riders of the 71A, 71B and 71C and P3 bus routes; Residents of East Liberty, Friendship, Highland Park, Homewood, Point Breeze, Point Breeze North and Shadyside; Riders of 61 and 71 series routes who cannot attend a meeting closer to their neighborhood. *Getting there:* The church is less than one block from the 71B (Highland Ave at Station Street) and approximately four blocks from the 71A (Negley at Rural Street); and 71C, 74, 77, 82, 86, 88 and 89 bus routes (Penn Avenue at Sheridan Square) If you're interested the routing, station locations, or service schedule or this project, consider attending; whether you use public transit frequently, occasionally, or not at all, this proposal has the potential to have an impact on our neighborhood, so please take this opportunity to learn more and register your opinion!
