Sadly I have to report that our car was broken into on Tuesday night of this week. We live on the 1300 block of Sheridan. What is worth noting is that we typically are very conscientious about locking our car. However, that evening we got back late, had a house guest, sleepy kids, etc., and neglected to lock the car. My guess is that whomever is responsible simply walked down the street checking car doors until they found an easy opportunity. They took our GPS and a cell phone - - a costly reminder to remove valuables from cars and always lock them. (And yes, we filed a police report.)
