[Highland Park] Union Project Stained Glass Restoration Class
The Union Project is very happy to announce a Stained Glass Restoration Class beginning September 4, 2003 and being taught by restoration artist Catherine Berard. In this class you will learn to repair and restore stained glass windows. This 10-week course will take you through simple repairs to complete disassembling and reassembling of historic 100-year-old stained-glass church windows. You will learn how to cut and replace broken or missing glass, glaze, lead, solder and putty a window. This course will give you enough background to make your own stained glass windows or restore your own historic windows. The class will be open to students of any skill level. All tools and materials will be provided. The class will be offered for 10 consecutive weeks and will meet for 2 1/2 hours each week. Cost for the class is $150.
