[Highland Park] Eve of Candlemas
*Groundhog Day* Cinema St. Andrew Friday, February 1, 7:30 p.m. Brooks Hall, St. Andrew's Church 5801 Hampton Street, Pittsburgh, Highland Park 15206 On Friday evening February 1st some Pittsburghers will be on the road toward Punxatawney to celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of Our Lord in the Temple with Phil and all the wintry revellers at dawn on Saturday . . . . If we're not be among them this year, the St. Andrew's Adult Programs Committee invites us to a Cinema St. Andrew evening, as part of our "Nomads and Pilgrims" series on the exploration of the spiritual journey, as we will enjoy together, *Groundhog Day*, the 1993 comedy film written by Danny Rubin and Harold Ramis and directed by Harold Ramis, starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell. It's great fun -- and it leaves us with much to ponder as well on how we make sense of the evolution of our own character over the days and years of our lives. So: bring a movie-appropriate treat to share, and join us! BruceR
