Ugandan Open House - Bringing Hope to the Family
Hello, my wife Margaret is from Uganda, she's the kindest woman I know and some of you around the neighborhood know her. Her nephew Stephen, who runs a nonprofit organization called "Bringing Hope to the Family" there, is visiting and we are hosting an open house. I first met Margaret when I travelled to Uganda to volunteer back in 2007, she was the one waiting in the airport holding a sign to pick me up and escort me where I needed to go. The organization has grown since then - they now have a small hospital, primary school, vocational school, and an orphanage to serve the community. When I went there it was in support of a program to dig shallow wells for community water supply. They still do that too as well as many other things. [image: CIMG1492.JPG] We will be serving Ugandan food and sharing about the work they do. It's from 2-6 this Sunday, if you know you intend to come go please let me know in the comments so we can know what to expect but otherwise don't worry about it and just stop on by. Here's a link to their website: https://bringinghope.org I've attached an invitation with some more information. Please spread the word and stop by if you are able. You can reply to let me know if you plan to come but otherwise don't worry about it, just show up. Regards, Brent Lahaie
