We came home to a winter wonderland - our first major snow, blown up onto the porch of our first home. And then a great battle occurred. A shuffle left. A shuffle right. Evidence of snow gathered by gloved hands and maybe thrown at a challenger. Footprints everywhere all over the snow covered porch. And our snow shovel nowhere in sight. The least the thieves could have done was shovel the porch before they absconded with our trusty shovel! Tomorrow, when they are off from school and they come knocking on your door offering to shovel your walk, ask them where they got their shovel...and raise an eyebrow for me.
