Hello HP'ers The Highland Park Tree Tenders and Tree Pittsburgh are hosting a Tree Care event next Tuesday March 20 from 6PM to 8PM. We're going to meet at the corner of Bryant and Portland and work our way down Portland Street. Mulching and weeding as we go. Maybe some pruning too. These trees were planted in the Spring 2011. Tree Pittsburgh has a registration form on their website to track how many volunteers to expect. http://treepittsburgh.org/events/tree-care-highland-park-open-registration If you have never participated in a Tree Event this would be a great introduction and an opportunity learn more about the street tree program.
