Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24, 10:30 p.m. A Musical Prelude featuring sopranos and altos of St. Andrew's Parish Choir and harpist Sierra Pastel with Benjamin Britten's 1942 Christmas masterpiece "A Ceremony of Carols." Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24, 11 p.m. The traditional midnight Christmas Eve choral celebration of Holy Communion, with the Parish Choir, familiar carols and hymns, and the Rector's Christmas Meditation. Christmas Morn, Sunday, December 25, 10 a.m. One service only on this Sunday morning, Holy Communion and Sermon with traditional music and carols. Wednesday, December 28, 10:30 a.m. Midweek Holy Communion, in the Chapel. Saturday, December 31, 11 p.m. New Year's Eve. Recital by our St. Andrew's Organ Scholar Jeremy Jelinek, 11:30 p.m. Holy Communion, Midnight Bell-ringing in the Tower, Champagne Toast in Brooks Hall, with music by Pittsburgh songwriter/folksinger Brad Yoder. Sunday, January 1, 2012: Holy Communion at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. All are welcome. St. Andrew's Church School is on Christmas Break, but Nursery Care for infants and toddlers will be available for Sunday morning services on December 25 and January 1.
