FYI: Our Arson Investigator (who lives in Highland Park) heard the booms, as he was walking his dog Sunday. He reported that he believed the booms to be shotgun blasts coming from the Lincoln Ave area, but will investigate today. The Bomb technician (who lives in Stanton Heights) also reported he would scour the woods to determine if there is any evidence of explosives. I will continue to keep everyone updates as I receive additional information. In the meantime, keep calling if you hear any suspicious sounds. First thing...Happy New Year.

 I am forwarding all of the emails to our bomb and arson squad to see if they have found anything.  I can't imagine what they are.  I also sent all of the emails to EOC to see if we can track the days or times.  Based on everything they seem to be Sunday nights.  I'll let you know what I find out.  In the meantime keep calling and maybe we'll get a lucky break.

Hi Cmdr: two more booms just now (Sunday 1/9, 10:40 and 10:44 PM). Same general location (near the Farm House). We called 911, just for the record. One was REALLY loud. Have you made any progress in the investigations??
