[Highland Park] Free Tree for Your Sidewalk!!
Dear Neighbors The Highland Park Tree Tenders are once again planting sidewalk and front yard trees. In the spring of 2013, we plan to plant trees on N Sheridan Ave, Farragut St. and nearby cross streets. If you would like a free tree(s) (value of $500-$1,000) and you live on any of these streets, fill out the attached application. You can fill it out electronically and email it back to me, or leave it on your front porch and let me know it is there via email, and I will pick it up. Deadline to submit a tree request for this tree planting is August 31 st. *What trees do for you:* 1. Make your home and neighborhood beautiful 2. Keep your house cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter 3. Increase your property values by about 10% 4. Decrease Crime (Contrary to urban myth!) 5. Decrease air and water pollution 6. Decrease sewer runoff 7. Calm traffic If you have questions call or email me: 412 439 5172 Nancy Levine Highland Park Tree Tender For more information on this program, go to: http://www.treepittsburgh.org/
