Hi neighbors - Since school is starting, you may be looking for extra-curricular activities to round out your child's schedule. Please take a moment to consider one of the local Cub Scout packs for your elementary school-age son (1st-5th grades). I'm the Cubmaster of Cub Scout Pack 274, which meets Monday evenings from 6:45-8:00 at Liberty School in Shadyside, with a monthly pack meeting at First Methodist Church (also in Shadyside). We are a small but thriving pack of families from diverse backgrounds that focuses on the fun and community that the many facets of scouting encourages. Many of our boys live in Highland Park and have become good friends, both in and out of scouting. Our pack is accepting of all people.
